European Union Charter of Fundamental Rights specifies that every person has the right to asylum (Article 18).

Asylum in the Republic of Lithuania. – (Migration services)  A person by the Republic of Lithuania law’s can be provided – subsidiary protection (can be granted to persons who have a well – founded fear of persecution in their home country because of their race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion) or refugee status (can be granted to persons who are at a real risk of suffering form any of the following harms in their home country the reasons other than race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion: torture, cruel, violations of humans rights, various threats)

Who is a refugee?

 According to the Law of Republic of Lithuania, Refugee – a foreigner who prescribed in this Law granted refugee status in the Republic of Lithuania.

European Union Directive imperatively declares: Member States shall allow applicants for asylum the opportunity, at their own cost, to consult in an effective manner a legal adviser or other counsellor

Our lawyers will ensure asylum seekers’ rights, clarify responsibilities, from the moment an asylum application – border or other procedures.

  1. Represent refugee, which started in the refugee status of the procedure, interests;
  2. Follow the procedure, when refugee submit an application for asylum;
  3. Prepare confidential reports and monitoring reports;
  4. By client request, we can represent the refugee interests in the Migration Department or Court of law.
